Artist, priest and art-historian Iain McKillop has portrayed the Passion, Resurrection and Pentecost though his art.
This informal event will consider how other artists have approached these challenging themes and how we might use them as aids to prayer.
Iain McKillop is a painter, priest and art-historian working mainly in the field of Christian religious art. He regularly exhibits artworks in many cathedrals and churches, with permanent works in Gloucester Cathedral, Bury St. Edmunds, Mirfield, Ewell and Aldershot. He is a regular retreat leader, speaker and writer on issues of faith, art and art history.
Iain’s artworks will form part of Via Lucis: Stations of the Resurrection on Saturday 23rd May.
