Quiet Mondays ‘St Teresa of Avila’

31st January
10am - 3pm

St Teresa of Avila was a Spanish noblewoman who became a nun, and is known as one of the great mystics and reformers within the Church in the 16th Century.  She was born into an age of exploration (Columbus had discovered America 20 years before her birth) and religious upheaval (she was born just before the Protestant Reformation began).  We will follow some of her journey in becoming a woman of prayer with great love for Jesus.

A quiet day which will include a midday Eucharist. Share in the beauty of fellowship, stillness and peace.
