We continue our Quiet Monday’s with the writings of Thomas Keating. Fr Thomas was an American Catholic monk and priest.
He was known as one of the principal developers of Centering Prayer, a contemporary method of contemplative prayer.
We’ll spend some time reflecting on Keating’s work and how we might use it is our prayer life.
Please bring your own lunch.
What are Quiet Mondays?
Our regular series of Quiet Mondays balance led activity with personal time for prayer and contemplative craft.
Each day is themed and will include Morning Prayer (usually from the Northumbria Community) and often a Eucharist.
Bring your own lunch and spend time your own way, in fellowship or alone.
