So often the familiar words of the Lord’s Prayer can go racing past us that we scarcely know what we have said. Can we always say ‘Thy will be done on earth’ and really mean it? Can the ‘Kingdom, the power and the glory’ really be ours as well as Christ’s?
Poet-Priest Malcolm Guite will look at some of these questions and try to slow us down and deepen our reading of this prayer, and reflect on it through seven of his sonnets. We are delighted to be welcoming Malcolm to St Columba’s House for the first time to share his wit and wisdom.
