'Young Bellringers Award Saint Columba's Ten out of Ten'
Saint Columba’s House hosted the 38th Annual Young Bellringers' Cycle Tour as bellringers from all over the country descended on the bell towers of the Diocese of Guildford.
Their organiser, Fr Geoff Stickland, said of Saint Columba's:
'Our accommodation at St. Columba provided so nicely for our needs. The building was lovely and offered every facility that tired, dirty cyclists could ask for - my people loved it in every way. More than the building was the warm, accepting reception that the staff gave us. They made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. We really felt at home when we arrived back from our adventures on the roads of Surrey each evening. We relished the warm showers that flowed so efficiently and really enjoyed the evening meals so carefully prepared by Chef and his staff. All my lot gave St. Columba's ten out of ten in every area.'
