The Pastoral Group
The pastoral group is instrumental in the development and leadership of the in-house programme and the development of Saint Columba's healing ministry.
Revd Mother Lucy Clare CSP is the leader of the Community of St Peter and a priest. Revd Mother is a leader of quiet days and retreats and has a special interest in Lectio Divina, a reflective way of engaging with scripture, and in Northern British Celtic Saints. Revd Mother is also a spiritual director.
Viv Stacey MA Religious Studies - Viv is a local group leader of Contemplative Outreach. She is a leader of quiet days, retreats, and workshops on Still Moves, meditation and contemplation in the Carmelite tradition, and creative writing. Viv is also a spiritual director, a counsellor, and a group facilitator.
Linda Scrivener is a licensed Pastoral Assistant, a counsellor, and a spiritual director. Linda leads quiet days, open door retreats, and retreats especially in the Ignatian tradition (19th Annotation and 30 day). She also leads Individual Guided Retreats, and is a prayer companion.
Pam Thorogood assists in hospital chaplaincy. Pam leads, and often works with Linda, on quiet days and retreats in the Ignatian tradition and Individual Guided Prayer, and 19th Annotation and 30 Day retreats, Open Door retreats, and seasonal meditations. She is also a spiritual director and prayer companion.
Celia Harrison is a counsellor specialising in trauma and a spiritual director. Celia assists with our programme development and healing ministry.
Teresa Brooks is a spiritual director and a member of our healing group, and assists Linda and Pam in quiet days and retreats. Teresa also assists in our programme development.
Sr Angela CSP is a member of the Community of St Peter and is instrumental in the running of the House Quiet Days with the Sisters CSP and in other sacristan and liturgical duties in Saint Columba's House.
